My name is Marisa (nicknamed RiScakes because i'm called Ris for short and I am always baking cakes!) In addition to the completion of Brookdale's Baking and Pastry certificate courses and being a certified Wilton Method Instructor, I have been baking for as long as I can remember. What started out as a personal hobby and stress relief, friends and family pushed me into pursuing as an actual career. I truly enjoy baking and creating cakes out of the freshest and highest quality of ingredients, baking each custom order with love! RisCakes began back in late 2010 and quickly became a full time 24/7 business venture as it has always been just myself doing 100% of the orders personally, and of course all from scratch. Two children later are schedule gets a bit hectic, we do ask for 3 weeks notice and a 50% deposit on all orders.
